Pettigrew Bakeries is a new and truly independent bakery in the beautiful Victoria Park area of Cardiff located on Cowbridge Road East. Our beautiful shop front was known by locals for 83 years as F Janes & Sons which traded as a pet store and hardware shop. Sid retired in 2015 and we promised him that we would restore his Victorian Shop and reopen it with a new lease of life providing incredible baked products to local people and beyond.

Our Bakery and shop is now open seven days of the week, supplying local independent businesses with Wholesale products and at the wonderful Riverside Farmers Markets in Roath on Saturday & Riverside on Sunday every week. Our team of local bakers use both traditional and Artisan techniques to create brilliant hand made real bread and much more.

Pettigrew Bakeries is Sister to Pettigrew Tea Rooms established in March 2012. Our Tea Rooms have become renowned for dedication, passion and integrity. We use local Welsh producers and fine quality ingredients in all the things we make and the food and beverages we prepare.

Our Bakery has fulfilled an ambition for us to become a true producer in South Wales, supplying our incredible baking to more people than ever.
